Background:
A Service Level Agreement framework was developed for the shared services ecommerce distribution operations of a multi-brand retail client. The project involved the assessment of existing 3pl agreements, documenting service categories, and benchmarking service level performance against industry best practices. Recommendations were made and accepted by the client that met the clients requirements for balancing of service level expectations and cost.
Goals:
- Research and develop a single SLA between the Ecommerce Fulfilment Center and the Retail brands.
Accomplishments / Benefits:
- PPT consulting placed a Senior Level Consultant with the client that was able to quickly understand, assess performance and make recommendations for mutually acceptable service level support of the Ecommerce brands.
- The client, through the guidance of PPT Consulting, was able to remain focused on several other critical initiatives instead of having to dedicate time and resources to the project.
