Background:

The HR Department of a $1B Pharmaceutical company engaged PPT to assist in the re-engineering of their Equity Administration, Leave of Absence Management & Tracking, and International Assignment processes. The re-engineering efforts for Equity Administration and Leave of Absence were directly related to recent outsourcing of these services that included supporting IT systems.

Goals:

  • Schedule and facilitate process definition workshops with key team members (internal and external)
  • Document and update operational process maps
  • Develop (where applicable) supporting operational procedures
  • Identify key operational changes to management/sponsor so that the proper change management activities occurred

Accomplishments / Benefits:

  • Conducted multiple process definition workshops for Equity Administration, Leave of Absence Management, and International Assignment
  • Documented current state for identified key operational processes
  • Developed and documented future state for identified key operational processes
  • Created supporting operational procedures where applicable
  • Successfully engaged and educated team members to drive understanding and adoption of updated and/or new processes. Also established a foundation for documenting and updating process documentation and support procedures
