Background:

Our client, a $2B Aerospace Manufacturer, manages their benefit administration through Corporate, although individual sites can negotiate and update plans independently. The decision was made to convert benefit administration to bswift, a relatively new provider of administration and call center services. The primary project management occurred by bswift. PPT was asked to provide a project manager to oversee the work required on the client side for implementation to enable a smooth transition.

Goals:

  • Track all tasks and issues to successful resolution and completion.
  • Work with management to involve HR at the sites so that they would be ready to roll out bswift to their employees.
  • Develop a change management and communication plan integrated with Communications.
  • Create content as needed for communications and change management.

Accomplishments / Benefits:

  • Developed detailed task plan for information and document transfer to bswift
  • Drafted communications talking points, presentations, draft desk drops, etc for HR
  • Managed the testing particularly the site involvement
  • Maintained focus of the client team to resolve issues and complete tasks within the plans requirements.
