BACKGROUND

The client is a global biotherapeutics leader using the latest technologies to develop and deliver innovative therapies to treat people with serious and life-threatening medical conditions. The client was in the final phase of a multi-year, enterprise-wide initiative to roll-out a global framework for job leveling and job profile descriptions (called Career Framework). This phase of the project focused on designing, mapping and deploying the Career Framework to employees in Collective Agreements (including Unions/Manufacturing Plants) as well as Support Roles across the organization. Client was looking for an experienced Program Manager to provide oversight and ensure collaboration across several inter-related projects.

GOALS

  • Ensure alignment across Business, HR stakeholders and vendors to define and obtain buy-in on requirements
  • Ensure alignment across Business, HR stakeholders and vendors to design and implement Career Framework within Workday
  • Ensure adequate structure and oversight across the various Workstreams involved with Career Framework
  • Ensure appropriate collaboration across several inter-related projects with Career Framework

ACCOMPLISHMENT & BENEFIT

  • Focused on ensuring the right Career Framework cross-team organizational structure and collaboration cadence for Wave 3 of the effort
  • Created and distributed monthly program update communications for the program team
  • Created and presented the bi-weekly program status updates to HR Leadership Team
  • Provided guidance in drafting and organizing the program “Measures of Success/Benefits”
  • Presented overview of Workday changes by lifecycle process and impacted audience to HR Leadership Team
  • Provided guidance in organizing and assisted in conducting the discovery related to usage and potential next areas of improvement for Job Content
  • Career Framework Wave 3 was successfully delivered on time
  • Developed presentation on key themes from discovery and options for next steps for Job Content; socialized with key stakeholders; and presented to HR Leadership Team
