The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), founded in 1997, is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned controlled, and operated by women in the United States. WBENC, a national 501(c) (3) non-profit, partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its national standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country. WBENC is also the nation’s leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America’s corporations.  PPT Consulting had been certified since 2004.

INC Magazine is a major business magazine dedicated to growing privately owned companies, driving innovation and value. Each year the magazine publishes the INC 5000 list to highlight those who have met specific criteria. The INC 5000 recognizes the small fraction of the nation’s companies that have demonstrated remarkable growth and success. Specifically, only 24 IT Service Firms were selected from the greater Philadelphia region, making PPT very pleased with this achievement.

The Soaring 76 is an impressive list of the fastest-growing companies throughout the Philadelphia region. The Soaring 76 list is compiled from nominations of qualifying private companies, as well as Business Journal analysis of Securities and Exchange Commission filings for all public companies headquartered in Greater Philadelphia. The winning companies on the list are ranked based on revenue growth over the three-year period. PPT Consulting is incredibly honored to have made this prestigious list in both 2019 and 2020.

Kathy Bellwoar, President and Founder, has been selected as one of Philly Biz magazine’s “Women to Watch 2017”! Kathy is honored to be selected as one of 16 impressive women who are making an impact on every sector of local business, achieving success in the fields of consulting, finance, litigation, technology, hospitality, nonprofit and more. Kathy’s leadership skills, dedication to delivering value to PPT’s clients and her deep involvement in the community helped to distinguish her for this award.

The Philadelphia 100 has been the hallmark of entrepreneurial achievement in the region since 1988. The project, which is run by the Wharton Small Business Development Center and The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, identifies and honors the 100 fastest growing, privately held entrepreneurial companies in the Greater Philadelphia Region.

Consulting Magazine is a major publication of the consulting profession which features the latest information on consulting careers, thought leadership, and corporate strategies. PPT’s status as a diverse supplier of consulting services through a personal and relationship-driven model is an important part of PPT Consulting’s mission. DiversityBusiness.com compiles the Top Business List on a state and national basis and this data is used to determine the top small businesses across the United States. Achieving this recognition is a tremendous honor and helps foster the success of Minority and Women Owned Businesses throughout the nation! PPT Consulting has been recognized each year since 2007.

PPT Consulting President & Founder Kathy Bellwoar is the proud recipient of The Philadelphia SmartCEO 2010 BRAVA! Women Business Achievement Award. The Brava! Award recognizes 25 female CEOs making unprecedented strides in business, building a stronger community both financially, philanthropically and most importantly, through leadership.

The KYW Women’s Achievement Award was newly launched in 2010. This award honors women business leaders who are active in their leadership & influence of the professional & cultural landscape of Philadelphia. In addition, finalists are selected based on their ability to meaningfully help women take charge of their careers, businesses and lives.

The Enterprising Women of the Year Awards recognizes the top women entrepreneurs in North America. To be considered for the award, nominees must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of our past recipients serve as leaders in key organizations that support the growth of women’s entrepreneurship.
