Kathy, the President and Founder of PPT Consulting, has over twenty-five years of experience within industry and as a partner of a major global consulting firm prior to founding PPT Consulting. She has led and grown comprehensive ERP and Supply Chain consulting practices and had served globally as a Products Industry leader.
Prior to founding PPT, Kathy first worked for Unisys culminating with positions as Process and Systems Control Manager. She then went on to work for CertainTeed Corporation, where she held management positions in both Manufacturing Systems and then Material Control and Inventory Planning. Leaving industry she next tried her hand at Consulting as she joined Arthur Andersen to grow their Business & IT Consulting practice in Philadelphia. There she had a successful ten year tenure while being named a World Wide Partner. It was after the demise of Andersen that Kathy decided to start a consulting firm of her own.
Kathy has managed numerous strategic technology projects from software selection to implementation, and from establishing IT strategy to optimizing business processes. Her key to project success has always been to ensure the key components of People, Process & Technology are addressed in the delivery of all solutions. She has repeatedly delivered pragmatic solutions and built outstanding relationships with many high-profile clients in the Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Consumer Products and Retail industries.
Ms. Bellwoar has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Villanova University and a Masters in the Dynamics of Organizations from the University of Pennsylvania. Bellwoar shares her insights, experience and knowledge through speaking events for the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Technology Council, and Women in Computer Technology. When not working Kathy stays active in local community and charitable organizations, serving as a Board Member for Eagles Fly for Leukemia. In addition, Kathy serves on the Finance Committee at her alma mater Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School. In 2012, Kathy was elected to the Board of the Forum of Executive Women and is serving as Chair of the Sponsorship Committee. Kathy is also happily married and the proud mother of Maureen, Harry and Jack.
Recent recognitions of Kathy’s and PPT’s success include that she is the proud recipient of the 2008 Enterprising Women of the Year Award, and in 2010 was named one of the five finalists for the KYW Women’s Achievement Award and was the recipient of the Brava Award by SmartCEO. Her firm has consistently been recognized as one of the top Woman-Owned Businesses by DiversityBusiness.com. Committee. In 2012, Kathy was named by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the region’s “People on the Move”.
